Construction Management works slightly differently than General Lump Sum. Under a Construction Management agreement, a price for the project is determined through the tender process. After that, we associate a percentage to the project and earn that amount as our profit and overhead. Usually, Construction Managers are engaged many months before the construction starts so we can apply value engineering and begin ascertaining construction costs and scheduling early on. This method of delivery is our preferred method, as it promotes a transparent, open-book approach to the project. You, the owner, will have access to all costs associated to your project. It is in our best interest under Construction Management to work closely alongside you, while carefully monitoring your budget.
